Wanjiru Wairimu Ngina, FMVA has a wide range of work experience in the finance and accounting fields. In 2019, they began working as a Finance Manager at Elephant Healthcare, where they work closely with the global finance team and cross-functional operational teams to deliver all aspects of financial support and administrative coordination for Elephant Healthcare Kenya Office. In this role, they are responsible for managing budgets and cash flows, overseeing the annual budgeting, leading audits, analyzing financial reports, implementing business procedures, and reporting to the Head of Finance Sub-Sahara. Prior to this role, they were an Administrative Assistant at Elephant Healthcare, where they acted as the point of contact for all employees, providing administrative support and managing their queries. From 2015 to 2014, they held roles at Standard Chartered Bank, Futures First, and United Bank for Africa. At Standard Chartered Bank, they were an Officer-Data Sourcing/Accounts Payables, where they handled both Customer data documents and Supplier documents. At Futures First, they were a Financial Markets Analyst, where they conducted research and analysis of the Lean hogs futures markets. At United Bank for Africa, they were a Sales/Customer Service Intern, where they handled accounts, loans and customer queries. In 2013, they held an Assistant role at Citi Bank. Finally, from 2010 to 2014, they were an Assistant Accountant at Muthithi Secondary School, where they worked with the school bursar to manage the book of accounts.
