Michele Manfredda

Michele Manfredda is an accomplished R&D scientist with extensive experience in optical engineering, specializing in X-ray optics and metrology at Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste since October 2013. Responsibilities include co-managing the Photon Transport System and developing advanced laser feedback systems and photon diagnostics. Michele has also contributed significant research involving femtosecond condensed matter dynamics and the design of a modular library for beamline operations. In addition, Michele serves as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Nova Gorica and has held various research positions, including designing innovative setups for characterizing laser coherence at INFN. Education includes a Ph.D. in Physics from Università degli Studi di Milano and experience as a visiting Ph.D. student at institutions such as ESRF and Université Grenoble Alpes.
