Abby Merchant

Abby Merchant currently serves on the Board of Directors at GeoBlue and the Cancer Support Community Indiana, while also holding the position of Chief Client Officer for Anthem National Accounts at Elevance Health since August 2006. Over the years at Elevance Health, Abby has progressed through various leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Business Solutions, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing business execution, operational readiness, and project management. Additional roles include Vice President of Sales Effectiveness, where focus was on sales enablement, and Advisor in the Office of the CEO, contributing to strategic alignment and high-impact projects. Abby’s earlier career includes positions at Ernst & Young as a Senior Auditor, complemented by educational credentials in Business Finance from Miami University and an MSA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame.
