Dheeraj Raina

Dheeraj Raina, MD, MBA, currently serves as the Managing Medical Director at Elevance Health, leading clinical initiatives for over 3 million members. Dheeraj has extensively shaped the organization’s strategy for Substance Use Disorders (SUD) while overseeing various Medicaid plans, contributing to quality management and provider relations. Prior roles include Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Medical Director at Edward Hines, Jr. VA Medical Center, and Chief Medical Officer at Chicago Read Mental Health Center. Dheeraj holds an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology and completed a psychiatry residency at the University of Illinois Chicago. Education also includes a fellowship in Refugee Mental Health and a Bachelor's degree in Medicine from Government Medical College, Nagpur.
