Mya Williams

Mya Williams is a Health Care Case Manager at Elevance Health since January 2023, coordinating comprehensive care for patients within NYC Medicaid systems. Previously, Mya served as a Community Health Case Manager at Alliance for Positive Health, focusing on health promotion among underserved populations. Mya's leadership experience includes the role of Vice President of the University at Albany Student Association, where initiatives to enhance student welfare were developed. Mya also held the position of Project Manager at the Wadsworth Center, overseeing the NYS Prescription Monitoring Program, and worked as Associate Director of the Student Association Department of Health & Sustainability at the University at Albany. An intern at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Mya contributed to planning a significant annual event while collecting data on suicide statistics. Mya holds a Master of Public Health from the University at Albany, expected in 2024, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the same institution.
