Paula R A. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and engineering. Currently serving as Senior Director of AI Technology at Elevance Health since January 2022, Paula previously held positions at Anthem, Inc. as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist, leading teams in advanced AI solutions. With a background as a Data Scientist at Verana Health and independent consulting in data science, Paula has worked on significant projects including a year-long assignment with a major Silicon Valley computer networking firm. Earlier roles include Senior Scientist in Process Metallurgy at Bloom Energy during its rapid growth phase, Lead Process Engineer at Imerys, and Operations Planning Geologist at Bunge.
