Sarah Scott

Sarah Scott is currently serving as a Marketing Communications Writer II at Elevance Health since March 2023, after an extensive tenure at Anthem, Inc., where roles included Proofreader II and Proofreader. Prior experience includes a position as a Writing Consultant at Christopher Newport University, where Sarah provided tutoring in academic and professional writing, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant role, leading research initiatives and authoring educational materials for ESL contexts. Additional volunteer work includes supporting refugee families as an ESL Teaching Volunteer and translating documents at Commonwealth Catholic Charities. Early career contributions also involve writing for The Odyssey Group and Her Campus Media. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Linguistics from Christopher Newport University and participated in a study abroad program at the University of Oxford focused on Leadership.
