Cynthia Myers

Cynthia Myers is a seasoned professional in IT governance and consulting with extensive experience in the banking and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Governance, Risk & IT Consultant at Elevate since December 2022, Cynthia's expertise encompasses Cyber Security, IT Compliance, and Internal Audit. Previously, Cynthia held significant positions such as Director of Enterprise IT Governance at American Bank, N.A., overseeing governance for a nearly $2 billion asset bank, and served as the first CIO at First National Bank, managing IT for a large network of branches. With a solid background that includes leadership roles at Coastal Banc, Service Corporation International, Ernst & Young, and Andersen Consulting, Cynthia has demonstrated a strong capability in strategic planning, project management, and full-life-cycle application development. Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University.
