Dan Kessler

Dan Kessler serves as the Chief Business Officer at Citizen, focusing on strategic operations, finance, and business development since January 2022. Prior to this role, Dan was the CEO of Harbor, which was acquired by Citizen in January 2022; under Dan’s leadership, Harbor launched an application that integrated local emergency alerts, risk prediction, and preparedness guidance, achieving significant user adoption and revenue generation. Dan also held the position of VP of Global Business Development at Headspace Inc., where efforts centered on enhancing mental wellness through innovative digital solutions. Previous experience includes senior roles at Hallmark Cards, Palindrome Media, and Happy Madison, among others, with early career involvement in digital media and film development. Dan holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University and a degree in Physics and English Comparative Literature from Columbia University.
