Emily Burby

Born and raised in Saratoga Springs, New York, Emily Burby has a zest for life — experiencing everything it has to offer, relishing in the moment, and helping those around her.

This desire started early in her life, but gained traction while studying Marketing Communications at Ithaca College, and took off while working in New York City after college. During this time, she honed her strategic planning skills, then brought her skills back to the Capital Region and began to work on her public relations and communications talents.

One thing she has learned during her seven-year career is that it can be so important to absorb information from colleagues and gathering insights from teammates. Acknowledging that they come from different professional backgrounds, have unique interests, and have a lot to learn from each other can help on a multitude of levels.

When she isn’t working on campaigns for their clients, Burby enjoys spending time with loved ones — especially her husband and their King Charles cavalier, Delilah (who is absolute perfection). She also enjoys cooking and putting her own spin on recipes or coming up with something from scratch. Her favorite dish to put together is Bolognese, which they would love to try at their next office potluck.

As simple as it sounds, she is passionate about enjoying life, making memories, being with the ones she loves, and experiencing all that life has to offer. She could be traveling to bucket list place or walking the dog with her husband, Burby feels it’s important to take it all in.

For her professional life, she desires continued growth and learning opportunities and thinks if you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room. They wholeheartedly agree and cannot wait to see all that she can accomplish!
