Reed Capshaw

Trombone at Elgin Symphony Orchestra

Reed Capshaw is a talented trombonist who currently holds the position of Principal Trombone in multiple orchestras and also serves as an Artist-Teacher at Roosevelt University. In addition to their impressive musical career, Reed also teaches as a Professor of Trombone at Indiana University South Bend. Capshaw has a Master's degree in Trombone Performance from Northwestern University and is currently pursuing a Master's in Public Policy at DePaul University.
