Matthew Greenfield

Matthew Greenfield currently serves as the Executive Director of Laboratory Operations and Facilities at Eli Lilly and Company since October 2025. Prior to this role, Matthew held various positions at Verve Therapeutics, including Senior Director, Director, and Associate Director in Laboratory Operations and Facilities from December 2020 to October 2025. Matthew's experience also includes serving as Associate Director of Laboratory Operations and Laboratory Operations Manager, Analytical Development at Alkermes from September 2017 to December 2020, and as a Senior Research Scientist at ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from April 2008 to May 2017. Earlier in Matthew's career, positions included Principal Research Associate at EPIX Pharmaceuticals and Laboratory Scientist and Environmental Health and Safety Manager (2005-2008). Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of New Hampshire, graduating in 1998.
