Isabelle Ioannides, PhD, serves as a Senior Policy Analyst and Research Manager at the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS) since February 2015, focusing on EU external policies and overseeing research related to the implementation of EU external actions. Currently, Isabelle leads the EU External Policies initiative and coordinates contributions to inquiries on financial transparency. In addition to EPRS, Isabelle holds roles as a Senior Research Fellow at the Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy and as a non-resident Fellow at IWM - Institut für die Wissenschaften vom Menschen. Past experiences include positions at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, the European Commission, and various research roles focused on EU policy, conflict resolution, and security issues, particularly in the Western Balkans and Eastern Mediterranean. Isabelle holds a PhD in International Relations and Security Studies, alongside other advanced degrees from esteemed institutions.
