Susanna Zucchelli

Graduates in Modern Foreign Languages at the University of Bologna, then attends various specialisation courses in marketing, sales and corporate management, obtaining a Master degree in Business Administration.

Currently holds the position of Director at Acqua di Hera S.p.A., where she joined in 2006 with the responsibility of managing networks and systems for the entire integrated water service.

In her professional career, she held the position of Commercial and Marketing Director at the Airport of Venice in 1996 and CEO at Geasar S.p.A. in 2002, a company that manages the airport of Olbia Costa Smeralda, leading it to the inauguration of the new airport and boosting its strong development.

Starting from 2006, she was Chairman at Promobologna, then independent director at Interporto Bologna, SEA S.p.A. – Aeroporti di Milano, Valsoia S.p.A. and BolognaFiere S.p.A.

Between 2017 and 2020, she first held the position of General Manager and then CEO at Heratech – Engineering and Technical Services; she previously was Director in other Companies.

She was awarded the ‘Mela d’oro Marisa Bellisario’ prize in the manager section in 2004 and in 2016 the “Women Friendly Companies” on behalf of Hera Group. In 2005 she wrote “Un’ora sola io vorrei, manuale per riprendersi il tempo che c’è” in cooperation with Cinzia Sasso, published by Sperling and Kupfer.
