Thomas Williams has worked in various roles since 2005, beginning with their role as Breakfast Manager/Opener at Burger King Corporation. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Chemistry Department of Colby College, where they presented their research at an undergraduate research symposium. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of New Hampshire, where they designed, performed, and interpreted experiments to enhance understanding of the optical and chemical properties of proteins and pigments. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Research Scientist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. In 2021, they began working as a Scientist, Analytical Chemistry at GreenLight Biosciences, Inc. and is currently employed as a Scientist II at Elicio Therapeutics.
Thomas Williams attended Colby College from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a BA in Chemistry. Thomas then attended the University of New Hampshire from 2013 to 2016, studying Analytical Chemistry. Finally, they attended Northeastern University from 2016 to 2019, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry and Chemical Biology.
