Ralph Beckers has extensive work experience in the agricultural industry, spanning over 30 years. Ralph'sroles ranged from researcher to managing director and founder. Beckers worked for international agrochemical companies, such as Nufarm and Syngenta Crop Protection. Ralph developed and implemented bio-industry projects for their own Swiss-based consultancy, Beckers-Lifescience. Ralph'sroles included general partner, global lead for portfolio advancement and innovation, global head of strategic marketing for sugar beet, and secretary-general at the International Institute for Beet Research. Ralph was also a member of international research teams on pre-rational intelligence and chemical communication in social insects and is currently the Chief Strategy Officer at Elicit Plant, an AGtech company in the plant stimulation sector.
Ralph Beckers earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the Université libre de Bruxelles in 1979 and went on to obtain a Master's degree in both Sociology and Environmental Sciences from the same institution by 1984. Ralph later earned a Doctor of Science degree in Biology/Entomology from University Paris XIII between 1990 and 1992, followed by a Master of Science degree in the same field from Université Paris XIII from 1988 to 1992. In 2009 and 2010, they obtained certification as a coach with a focus on professional coaching, team building, and organization development from Essor School.
