Daniel Ecer

Daniel Ecer is a Senior Data Scientist at eLife Sciences Publications, Ltd. Prior to their current position, Daniel held a Data Science Fellowship at ASI Data Science, where they developed key data science skills in data cleaning and analysis, machine learning, and distributed computing. Daniel also worked as a Technical Specialist at JHC Systems Limited, where they were the go-to person for Java/Web technologies and provided consultancy and development services. Daniel has also worked as a Software Developer for SITA and IVU Traffic Technologies AG. Throughout their career, they have used a variety of technologies and libraries, including React Native, JavaScript(ES6), TypeScript, CSS, AngularJS, React, NodeJS, Vert.x, Scala, Java, JEE, Spring, Wicket, JSP, JSTL, Struts, Servlets, HTML, Eclipse, Ant, JUnit, Maven, Subversion, Git, and AS/400.

Daniel Ecer has a BSc(Hons) in media and computing from Berlin University of Applied Sciences Berlin (BHT). Daniel also has certifications from Coursera in Human-Computer Interaction, Functional Programming Principles in Scala, and Machine Learning.
