Jefferson Luiz

Jefferson Luiz is an experienced professional in the field of artificial intelligence, specializing in machine learning and deep learning. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning R&D at Elife since December 2019, Jefferson focuses on natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, MLOps, healthcare, and data science. Prior roles include Deep Learning Researcher at CAPES from March 2018 to December 2019, with a focus on generative adversarial networks (GANs) and computer vision, and a Machine Learning intern at Elife from August 2017 to March 2018, working on machine learning applications in healthcare and mobile development. Jefferson holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Centro de Informática UFPE and a Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco.
