Erica Lieberman

Director Of Research Operations & Facility Management at Eligo Bioscience

Erica Lieberman has a diverse work experience. Erica began their career in 2011 as a Summer Intern at Arizona State University, where they researched and tested disinfection strategies for a tear glucose sensor. In the same year, they also became an Aerial Fabrics Instructor and Student Researcher at Stanford Outdoor Education, where they taught classes, developed curricula, and conducted research on the simplified genome of the bacteriophage ΦX174. In 2013, they volunteered at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, where they conducted background research on relevant science and current policy landscape to support the development of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology’s Report to the President on Combating Antibiotic Resistance. In 2014, they became a Consultant at Strategic Analysis Incorporated. In 2015, they Co-Captained the Stanford-Brown iGEM team, where they co-led a team of 11 undergraduates working on the development of biological, self-folding origami for use in space missions as part of the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition. Finally, in 2016, they became the Discovery & Automation Team Lead and Research Engineer at Eligo Bioscience.

Erica Lieberman attended Arcadia High School from 2006 to 2010. Erica then attended Stanford University from 2010 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering.
