Matthew Evans

Matthew Evans has had a varied work experience since 2014. Matthew began their career as a Supported Living Staff at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, then moved on to Bar Staff at The Lark in 2016. In 2017, they took on a role as Farm Manager at Chapala Gardens, as well as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Santa Barbara. In 2018, they became an Outdoor Science Instructor at Opal Creek Ancient Forest Center and a Small Business Sales at Gusto. Matthew's current role is Business Operations Associate at Eliqs, which they began in 2022.

Matthew Evans completed a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara in 2017. During their studies at UC Santa Barbara, they also obtained a Technology Management Certificate in Entrepreneurship/Business Strategy in 2017. Prior to attending UC Santa Barbara, Matthew obtained an Associate of Science in Environmental Studies from Santa Barbara City College in 2015. In 2018, they obtained a Wilderness First Aid certification from NOLS Wilderness Medicine.
