Coskun Sahin, Ph.D.

Coskun Sahin, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Coskun is currently a Co-Founder at eLira Technology Inc and a Founding Partner at GG Technologies Inc. In 2022, they also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Bitay.

Prior to these roles, Dr. Sahin worked as a Senior Advisor Network at Omantel from 2019 to 2020. Coskun served as the Chief Technology Officer at Turk Telekom from 2014 to 2016 and at AVEA from 2009 to 2016.

Before that, Dr. Sahin held various positions at Turkcell, including Emerging Services Division Head from 2009 to 2009, and Applied Research and Technologies Manager from 2006 to 2009. Coskun also worked as a Digital Product and Display Design Manager at Beko Elektronik from 2005 to 2006.

Dr. Sahin's early career includes roles such as VAS and Internet Services Consultant at TELSİM İletişim Hizmetleri AŞ. from 2001 to 2005, and System Design Manager at Sinyal A.Ş. from 1999 to 2001. Overall, their work experience spans over two decades and includes leadership positions in various technology companies.

Coskun Sahin, Ph.D. has an extensive education history. Coskun began their educational journey in 1980 at Eskişehir Teknik Lisesi where they pursued a degree in Electronics Technician, completing the program in 1983. Following that, they attended Istanbul Technical University, graduating in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Wanting to further expand their knowledge in the field, Sahin continued their education at Istanbul Technical University and earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 1990. Coskun then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Computer and Control Engineering at the same institution, completing their doctoral studies in 1997.

In addition to their academic achievements, Sahin obtained a certification as a PADI Open Water Diver from PADI in September 2015. This demonstrates their interest and proficiency in the area of scuba diving.
