Michael, SeungJin Lee

Michael, SeungJin Lee has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Michael, SeungJin started their career as an Actuarial Analyst at Aviva Canada in 2010 and worked there until 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they held the position of Data Scientist and Senior R&D Analyst at the same company. Afterwards, they served as a Data Scientist Manager at Aviva Canada from 2014 to 2015.

In 2015, Michael worked as a Big Data Architect and Developer (contract) at Inovex Inc. MapsBl for a period of five months. Later that year, they joined OPTA Information Intelligence as the Data Science Lead and Machine Learning Engineer, a role they held until 2018.

In 2017, Michael took on the position of Principal Consultant at Leet Data Consulting Inc and also worked as a Data Science Consultant at Elite Analytical Solutions. Since July 2018, Michael has been working as the Director of Advanced Analytics at OLG.

Throughout their career, Michael has gained expertise in data science, machine learning, analytics, and actuarial analysis.

Michael, SeungJin Lee completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Concordia University from 2006 to 2009. Michael, SeungJin has also pursued various certifications and courses, including a certificate in Deep Learning specialization from Coursera in 2018. Michael, SeungJin obtained a nanodegree in Natural Language Processing from Udacity in the same year. Michael has also received a certificate in C++ for programmers from Udacity and completed the Self-driving car term 1 nanodegree in 2018 as well. In 2017, they pursued a nanodegree in Artificial Intelligence from Udacity. Additionally, Michael has obtained certifications such as Cloudera Administrator Training for Apache Hadoop-HADOOP-ADMIN 49487 from ExitCertified in March 2015 and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) from Amazon in January 2019. Michael, SeungJin has also obtained certifications in AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Neo4j Certified Professional from Neo Technology, the Creators of Neo4j.
