Shanshan Wu has a diverse work experience, starting as an Executive at EY from 2007 to 2010. Shanshan then worked as a Credit Manager at Royal Bank of Scotland Business from 2011 to 2015, followed by a role as a Leveraged Finance Credit Officer at Credit Suisse from 2015 to 2016. Shanshan then transitioned to the position of Director at MUFG from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they co-founded Newfin Capital, where they focused on developing relationships, evaluating strategic financial objectives, and business development plans. After Newfin Capital, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Green Dome Investments in 2020. Currently, they are working as the Chief Financial Officer at Elite Co., a leading land freight and courier solutions provider in the Middle East.
Shanshan Wu pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2002 to 2005. Shanshan then went on to complete a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics at UCL from 2005 to 2006. In 2007, they attended ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs and obtained a Chartered Accountant qualification, which they completed in 2010. Most recently, in 2019 to 2020, Shanshan Wu enrolled in London Business School and completed an Executive MBA degree in Business Administration and Management.
