Anette Backman

Anette Backman has a diverse work history in the hospitality industry. Anette is currently working as the Head of Pricing Management at Elite Hotels of Sweden AB since 2023. Before that, they worked as a Project Manager for the implementation of hotel systems at the same company from 2021 to 2023.

Prior to their current role, Anette spent a significant amount of time at Diplomat Hotels, where they held the position of Revenue Manager from 2007 to 2021. Anette'sresponsibilities included managing revenue, contracting with OTA's and FIT Leisure accounts, and handling monthly statistics and budget. Anette worked with various software and systems such as IDeaS RMS, Rate Tigers Channel manager, Trust/Gateway CRS, Opera PMS, and TravelClick's ihotelier.

Anette also served as a Revenue Manager at WORLDHOTELS AG from 2007 to 2020.

In addition to their revenue management roles, Anette had various positions at Sheraton Stockholm Hotel & Towers. Anette started as a Guest Service Agent in 1989 and gradually worked their way up to becoming a Sales Manager, Reservations Manager, Group & Events Agent, Night Manager, Front Office Shiftleader, and Senior Guest Service Agent. Anette gained experience in sales, reservations, guest services, and management during their time at Sheraton.

Anette's work experience also includes maternity leaves in 2003-2004 and 2005-2007.

Anette began their career as a Receptionist at Hotel Continental Ystad in 1988.

From 1998 to 2000, Anette Backman attended IHM Business School, where they studied Marketing.
