Shawn Moore

Shawn Moore, LMSW, is an experienced professional in social work and mental health, currently serving as the Director and Program Manager of Financial Wellness at the Elizabeth Dole Foundation since January 2022. As the Founder and Executive Director of Caregivers on the Homefront, a non-profit organization established in 2017, Shawn supports families of military members, veterans, and first responders through educational initiatives, retreats, peer support groups, and advocacy efforts. Previous experience includes internships at Johnson County Mental Health Center and TMC Center for Trauma Informed Innovation, along with a significant role as a Police Officer at the Kansas City Missouri Police Department from November 2003 to January 2019. Shawn holds a Master of Social Work degree from Park University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Psychology from the same institution.
