Kevin Shorner-Johnson serves as an Academic Administrator and Associate Professor of Music Education at Elizabethtown College, where responsibilities include leading the new Master of Music Education with an emphasis in peacebuilding and overseeing a professional development network focused on music peacebuilding. Prior experience includes a role as Assistant Professor of Music Education, teaching music education seminars and supervising student teachers, as well as serving as Band Director at Burney-Harris-Lyons Middle School and teaching at Nodaway Valley Community Schools. Kevin holds an Ed.D. and a Master's degree in Music Education from The University of Georgia, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Education from Northwest Missouri State University.
