Peilong Li

Peilong Li is an accomplished academic currently serving as an Associate Professor and Program Director of Computer Science and Data Science at Elizabethtown College since June 2018. Prior to this role, Peilong Li held various positions at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, including Research Assistant Professor, where involvement included serving as co-principal investigator on a NSF CICI grant focused on secure cyberinfrastructure for translational research, and conducting research on software-defined networking, network function virtualization, and edge computing. Peilong Li's research experience also encompasses work on heterogeneous computer architecture and cloud/mobile computing, as well as an internship at Podium Data, focusing on integrating Apache Pig with Apache Spark. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Qingdao University of Science and Technology.
