Saralyn MacMillan

Certified Prosthetist Orthotist at ēlizur

Saralyn MacMillan is a certified prosthetist orthotist currently working at ēlizur since May 2020, where Saralyn serves in multiple capacities, including board eligible prosthetist/orthotist and prosthetics and orthotics resident. Previously, Saralyn gained experience as a prosthetics and orthotics intern at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center from January to March 2020. Prior to that, Saralyn volunteered with the Mighty Penguins Sled Hockey team from September 2018 to June 2019, and held the position of certified fitter of orthotics at ēlizur from October 2016 to August 2018. Saralyn also worked as a special needs coordinator at Easterseals in 2016, focusing on inclusion for children with disabilities. Earlier experience includes an internship with the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center in the Summer Adaptive Wilderness Program in 2015. Saralyn holds a Master of Science in Orthotist/Prosthetist from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
