Ronda Rufsvold

Ronda Rufsvold currently serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of the Pacific and a Special Education Intern Field Coach at the Sacramento County Office of Education, both positions held since July 2023. Additionally, Ronda is a Special Education Program Specialist with Elk Grove Unified School District and has been a Teleinterventionist at Weingarten Children's Center since January 2017. Previous roles include project management at OPTION SCHOOLS INC, and a Special Education Program Specialist position with Natomas Charter School. Ronda's early career involved work as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing with the NYC Department of Education and the Auditory Oral School of New York, as well as serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Teachers College, Columbia University. Ronda Rufsvold holds a PhD in Deaf and Hard of Hearing from Columbia University, an M.Ed. in Special Education from the University of San Diego, and a B.S. in Speech Language Pathology from the University of the Pacific.
