Shana Henry

Shana Henry, Ed.D., currently serves as the Director of Secondary Education and Continuous Improvement Support Leader at Elk Grove Unified School District, where expertise is focused on school improvement actions and services for PreK-12 schools. As President and Founding Board Member of the California Association of Asian and Pacific Leaders in Education, Shana is dedicated to advocating for Asian and Pacific Islander educators and ensuring equity in education. Experience includes hosting the Principals of Success Podcast and serving as Principal in various school districts, including San Juan Unified, Twin Rivers Unified, and Sacramento City Unified, where significant accomplishments include implementing data-driven instructional strategies, improving school culture, and enhancing community engagement. Academic qualifications encompass a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of the Pacific and various other degrees in education and business.
