Arianeh Aamodt

Arianeh Aamodt has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to research and development, management, and technology. Arianeh worked at Elkem Foundry Products as the Technology Director, overseeing global production units and large engineering projects. Arianeh also managed the development of new process technology and the division's digitalization portfolio. Prior to this, they were a Technical Director at Elkem Foundry Products, responsible for business development, pilot plants, and innovation processes.

Before their time at Elkem Foundry Products, Arianeh served as the Vice President for R&D and HSE at PPG Industries, where they directed a multinational team and was responsible for research and development and health, safety, and environment on a group level. Arianeh also held the position of R&D Manager for outdoor coatings and biology at Jotun, where they successfully launched new products, supervised product development and marketing, and carried out environmentally friendly corporate projects.

Earlier in their career, Arianeh held various positions at Jotun, including Segment & R&D Manager, R&D Manager for the Binder department, and R&D Product Developer for the Binder department. In these roles, they managed teams, developed innovative binders for coatings, and focused on customer-driven products.

Arianeh began their career at Alcro Beckers-SOAB as an R&D Product Developer, where they specialized in emulsion polymerization binders for waterborne environmentally friendly products.

Throughout their career, Arianeh has demonstrated strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

Arianeh Aamodt earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Chemistry from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, between 1978 and 1987.
