Frank Aslaksen

Frank Aslaksen has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Frank is currently working as the IT Director at Elkem ASA since July 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of IT Infrastructure at Elkem ASA from August 2019 to December 2022.

Before joining Elkem ASA, Frank worked at Agder Energi from 2006 to 2019. Frank held multiple positions during their tenure, including Head of Physical Energy Management, Head of Risk and Business Management, Director Strategical HR, and Director Organization.

Frank also worked at Agder Energi Nett AS as the Quality Manager from May 2005 to May 2006. Frank was responsible for implementing a new management system and overseeing an outsourcing project.

Prior to their time at Agder Energi, Frank worked at Teleca Wireless Solutions AS as the Quality Manager and Project Manager from November 2002 to May 2005.

Frank's earliest work experience was with Ericsson, where they worked from 1995 to 2002. Frank served as a Manager, leading various GSM software development units and methods and tools development/support for GSM development centers internationally. Frank also worked as a SW designer and Project Manager during their time at Ericsson.

Frank Aslaksen attended the University of Agder (UiA) from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics. Frank further pursued studies at UiA from 1996 to 1997 and obtained a Cand. mag. degree in Economy and Project Management.
