Sean Duffy

Sean Duffy has extensive work experience in the chemicals industry. Sean started their career in 1983 as a Technical Service Chemist at ICI Specialty Chemicals. From 1988 to 1999, they worked as a Technical Manager at Rhône-Poulenc & Rhodia Silicones. Sean then joined Bluestar Silicones in 2000, where they held various roles including Technical Service & R&D Manager, Key Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Global Market Manager, and Global Business Manager. In 2015, they moved to Elkem ASA as Global Business Unit Director, responsible for the strategic direction and marketing of specialty business groups. Sean later became Vice President Sales Marketing and currently serves as Vice President Sustainability & Regulatory Compliance.

Sean Duffy attended Kingston University from 1983 to 1988, where they graduated as a Royal Society of Chemistry Graduate in Chemistry. Sean also earned a certification as a Chartered Chemist from the Royal Society of Chemistry UK. However, the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
