Vidar Borgen

Vidar Borgen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Vidar is currently working at Elkem ASA as the Sales and Marketing Director. Prior to this, they held the position of Sales and Shipping Manager at Elkem Carbon, where they managed the Order and Shipping team, as well as served as a Sales Manager for the company's customers.

In addition, Vidar Borgen served as the Chairman of the Board at Bjaaavann Golfklubb - Kristiansand. Vidar also worked at Identec Solutions as the VP Sales Oil & Gas, where they were responsible for managing the company's portfolio and acquiring new clients in the oil and gas industry.

Before that, they co-founded OG-S Search and Select, where they served as a Partner & Sr. Advisor to oil and gas clients. Their main responsibilities at OG-S included KPI follow-up, sales strategy implementation, business development, account management, project management, and financial responsibility.

Vidar Borgen also worked at SThree - Progressive Global Energy as a Sr. Advisor to oil and gas clients, opening the first Norway office. Vidar was involved in business development, managing key accounts, leading the "Executive Search" market, and mentoring junior consultants.

Vidar gained experience in the financial sector as well, working as a Sr. Equity Sales Advisor at Atlas Sec. and Equity Sales Advisor at Orion Securities. Vidar started their career as a Client Advisor at Handelsbanken.

Vidar Borgen completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Liverpool John Moores University from 2000 to 2003. Vidar further pursued an MSc degree in International Banking and Finance from the same university from 2003 to 2004.
