Allison Moening

Allison Moening serves as Culinary Director and Executive Pastry Chef at Copper Kitchen since February 2024, while also holding the position of Executive Pastry Chef at Elkridge Furnace Inn since April 2021. Previous experience includes roles as a Bartender at Crooked Crab Brewing Company, Pastry Chef at Turf Valley Resort, and Assistant Pastry Chef at Cafe Luxembourg. Earlier culinary positions include Pastry Assistant at Le Bernardin and Lobster Bar Sea Grille, and Baker at DAY MARKET KITCHEN LLC. Military service as a Cryptologic Linguist was completed with the United States Marine Corps from October 2009 to December 2014. Academic credentials include an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
