Jana Harper

Jana Harper is the VP of Engineering at Ellevest. Jana has over five years of experience in software engineering and management. Prior to joining Ellevest, Jana was the Engineering Manager at WeWork, where they oversaw the development of the wiki platform and developer API. Jana also worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Betterment, where they managed a team of engineers and led multiple projects to improve operational efficiency.

Jana Harper has a Bachelor of Science in Computing and Software Systems from the University of Washington Bothell, an Associates of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from North Seattle College, and they majored in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Idaho.

Their manager is Rajesh Jayaraman, Chief Technology Officer. They work with and Kate Sullivan, PhD - VP Data & Analytics.
