Ajit Verma

Ajit Verma is the Chief Technology Officer at Ellipsis Health, where he leads the engineering and data teams. He brings more than two decades of leadership experience at eminent technology and healthcare companies in Silicon Valley such as Twitter, Adobe, Akamai, and HealthTap. Ajit was also the founding member of the cloud computing division at Huawei, where he built and led the team to create innovative distributed storage products. This division now generates more than $2B in annual revenues. One of the first installations of this product was at CERN, Switzerland. Ajit holds several patents in distributed computing. At HealthTap, he built and led the machine learning team that developed a symptom triage system, Dr. AI.

Ajit is passionate about using technology to make a difference in people's lives and believes in lifelong learning. He has an MS (Honors) degree in Computer Science from the University of Kansas, Lawrence and a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, India.
