Jon Berezowski

Jon Berezowski has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Most recently, they have worked at Elliptic Labs since 2021, initially as a Machine Learning Engineer and later promoted to the role of Machine Learning Team Lead. Prior to that, Jon worked at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway from 2020 to 2021, where they served as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. Jon also had a brief research assistant role at UiT in 2020. Before that, Jon held various positions at Kayas College from 2016 to 2019, including Director of Community Training, Community Development Project Manager, and Math Instructor. Jon also worked as a Data Collection Crew Lead at Statistics Canada in 2016 and as a Tour Guide at Hobbiton™ Movie Set from 2014 to 2015. Jon's early work experience includes a Corporate Security Data Analyst Internship at BlackBerry in 2011.

Jon Berezowski has a strong background in statistics and data analysis. Jon obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Statistics from the University of Guelph, graduating in 2014. Jon then pursued further education, completing an Advanced Diploma in GIS Applications at Vancouver Island University in 2019.

In 2019, Jon started studying at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Statistics in 2021. This program allowed him to deepen their knowledge and expertise in the field.

Jon has also earned additional certifications to enhance their skillset. In 2018, they completed the Machine Learning Fundamentals certification at Codecademy. Furthermore, in 2021, they obtained a Data Engineering Foundations Specialization certification from Coursera.
