Paul-Are Sandal

Paul-Are Sandal has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Paul-Are started their career as a summer job employee at Ulstein Elektro AS in 2009 and 2010. Paul-Are then worked as a software developer at ClampOn from 2010 to 2013. Afterward, they joined S/Y Skruff as a crew member on a sailing yacht from 2013 to 2014. Following that, they returned to ClampOn as a software developer from 2014 to 2017. In 2020, they started working at Elliptic Labs, first as a system engineer and later as a team lead.

Paul-Are Sandal pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 2006, they attended Ålesund University College (HiÅ) where they completed a Preparatory Course in Engineering. Subsequently, from 2007 to 2010, Sandal studied at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, earning a Bachelor's degree in Automation. Later on, they enhanced their knowledge and skills by pursuing a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Oslo (UiO) between 2017 and 2019.
