Shangdong Gu

Shangdong Gu has a strong background in technology and engineering. Shangdong began their career in 2012 with a research internship at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where they focused on the Laboratory for Laser Plasmas. In 2013, they joined Elliptic Labs and started as a Field Application Engineer. Shangdong quickly moved up within the company, becoming a Technical Director in 2014. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Technology Asia at Elliptic Labs, starting in July 2022. Shangdong Gu's experience spans various roles and responsibilities, showcasing their expertise and dedication in the field.

Shangdong Gu pursued their higher education from 2008 to 2013 at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering in Applied physics and mathematics. In 2012, they had the opportunity to study abroad as an exchange student at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. During this period, they focused on Industrial Management and Financial Engineering, as well as Applied Physics.
