Deric Clinton

Deric Clinton is an experienced leader in aquatic operations, currently serving as the Executive Director of Swim Operations at The Y in Central Maryland since March 2024. With a career that spans over 15 years in various roles related to aquatic safety and management, Deric has held positions such as Senior Associate at Ellis and Associates, Inc., Safety Manager/Assistant Director of Aquatics at Great Wolf Lodge, and Senior Director of Aquatic Operations & Aquatic Safety at the YMCA of Delaware. Deric's contributions to the field also include roles in operational support and training at organizations like Jeff Ellis Management, LLC, and DreamWorks Water Park. Deric holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Wilmington University, earned between 1996 and 2000.
