Anne Ellison-Webb has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Anne started their career in 1975 working in seasonal catering roles in hotels, cafes, and guest houses. In 1977, they became a Personal Assistant at the Manchester Diocesan Board of Education, a position they held until 1984. From 1985 to 1989, Anne was an Entrepreneur, running their own catering services company called AW Catering Services. In 1990, they took on multiple roles, becoming a Visiting Lecturer at Blackburn College, Rossendale & Accrington College, Calder College, and a Training Specialist at West Midlands Training (Tysley) Limited. As a Training Specialist, they managed and taught Level 1 and 2 Catering NVQs to clients on government-funded vocational programs. Anne was responsible for teaching in realistic work and classroom environments, assessing learners in the workplace, and developing cross-curricular thematic support courses. In 1994, Anne founded their own training company, Ellison-Webb Training, where they currently hold the position of Director and Tutor.

Anne Ellison-Webb obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Nutrition & Food Science from Oxford Brookes University, which they completed between 1997 and 2002. Prior to this, they received a Certificate in Education CNAA in Food Science, Food Production, and Food Legislation from The University of Huddersfield, with no specific start year mentioned. Additionally, they earned City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 qualifications in Catering for the Food Industry from Oldham College in 1985.
