Angela Ruiz

Angela Ruiz has over 25 years of work experience in various roles within the healthcare and IT industries. Angela is currently the Director of Laboratory Product Management at ELLKAY since May 2021. Prior to this, Angela worked at Ascension from July 2016 to May 2021 as Manager II - Technology, National Integration Support, where they led a national integration team in supporting HL7 and FTP interfaces across multiple hospital systems. Angela also has experience as a Healthcare IT Consultant from May 2013 to December 2018, providing consultation services for implementation and validation of Laboratory Information Systems and process improvements. Angela served as the Senior Manager of LIS Systems at Sequenom Laboratories from November 2013 to January 2016, being responsible for managing all aspects of the LIS systems. From May 2003 to May 2013, Angela worked at LabCorp Diagnostic Laboratories as Director of IT, overseeing IT strategic planning, project management, software development, data management, and system security. Angela has also held roles at Covance, Jasper Engines and Transmissions, and LJMJ, Inc, gaining additional experience in service coordination, programming, and operations management.
