Shaman Akhtar

Shaman Akhtar has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. They started their career at Cerner Corporation as a Senior System Engineer in 1998 and worked there until 2004. They then joined Deloitte as a Senior Consultant specializing in life sciences and healthcare until 2006. From 2006 to 2008, Shaman worked at Accretive Health as a Technology Manager focusing on IT implementations. They then joined Jackson Health System as an IT Manager for Clinical Resource and Utilization Management from 2008 to 2010. In 2011, Shaman joined Impact Advisors as a Senior Advisor. Currently, they are working at ELLKAY as the Director of Customer Success - Hospitals and Health Systems.

Shaman Akhtar has a background in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. They also obtained an Executive MBA with a specialization in Health Sector Management and Policy from the University of Miami Herbert Business School. Additionally, Shaman has a certification as a Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance.
