David Beedy

David Beedy is an experienced education professional serving as the Director of STEM Education at Elmhurst District 205 Public Schools since July 2017, focusing on the development and innovation of STEM programs for all students. In addition to this role, David has contributed as a STEM Coordinator at Elmhurst CUSD 205 since June 2014, leading the K-12 Math and Science curriculum's implementation and evaluation. Prior experiences include serving as an Assistant Principal and Instructional Leader at Perspectives Charter Schools, where David enhanced staff performance and led curriculum development initiatives. David's teaching background spans multiple high schools, where David has taught various science subjects and successfully guided students to high college acceptance rates. David holds a Master of Science in Geology and Teaching of Earth Science, a Type 75 in Educational Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology.
