We have an exciting part-time job opportunity for as EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN at Sugar Creek Golf Course! This position requires 2 years of relevant experience in repairing, operating, and maintaining reel mowers and/or outdoor power equipment. We encourage you to apply for our Grounds Worker I position should you have less than 2-years of experience. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO: The Equipment Technician will be responsible to repair and maintain golf course equipment and maintenance facilities. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Repair and maintain golf course equipment.

  • Sharpen and maintain reel and rotary mowers.

  • Document repairs and preventative maintenance.

  • Perform maintenance, cleaning, and general repairs to maintenance facilities.

  • Communicate with equipment manufacturers and technicians.

  • Operate mowers and equipment when required.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • High school graduate or equivalent with 2 years relevant experience repairing, operating, and maintaining reel mowers and/or outdoor power equipment.

  • Equipment and Engine Training Council (EETC) or similar training and certification preferred.

  • Some college or technical school preferred.

  • Valid Illinois driver’s license.

WHEN YOU’LL WORK:
Schedule varies, about 16 hours/week.
