Miriam Tamir has a strong background in procurement, with over 30 years of experience in the field. Miriam began their career as a Senior Buyer at Rokonet Ltd in 1990, where they handled purchasing activities for the company. After four years, they moved on to become the Procurement Manager at Lasroc, where they managed procurement for thirteen years. In 2007, Miriam joined RISCO Group as a Strategic Procurement Manager, responsible for strategic procurement activities. Miriam held this role for five years before moving to Elmo Motion Control in 2012. At Elmo Motion Control, Miriam served as the Strategic Procurement Manager, overseeing the purchasing processes, defining logistics and freight methods, and managing a team of senior purchasers in Israel and China. Miriam also collaborated with various departments and managed international imports and annual tenders.
Miriam Tamir obtained their B.A in Social Science & Humanities from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they studied in the Business Administration & Economics Division. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Annual, procurement management, supply and purchase from the Israel Institute of Productivity.
