Tessa Peterson has held multiple roles in the past decade. Starting in 2012, they served as a Marketing & Promotional Team Lead for Mosaic North America. Tessa then worked as a Fundraising Coordinator for Champion Athletes of the Ozarks from 2013 to 2015. During this time, they were also a 911 Telecommunicator and Certified Trainer for the City of Springfield, Missouri. In 2018, Peterson moved to the City of Thornton, Colorado where they worked as a Communications Specialist III. Most recently, they have been employed at Gaia Inc. since 2019, where they have held the roles of Associate Manager of Member Support, Ambassador Success Coach, and Community Relations Lead/Representative. In their current role, they supervise global teams for a premier subscription video-on-demand streaming service with over 750K members and 8,000+ titles. Tessa is responsible for troubleshooting problems, leveraging diversity, creating positive working relationships, and identifying features that drive engagement and retention of customers. In addition, they have developed and implemented new-employee and contractor training, recommended process and system improvements, and fueled cost savings by developing functional solutions to member support requests. In 2022, Peterson will move on to their next role as a Member Support Manager for Elo Health.

Tessa Peterson obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Missouri State University between 2010 and 2013. Tessa also attended College of the Ozarks in 2009, studying Public Relations. In addition, they have earned two certifications: Google Analytics for Beginners from Google in November 2021 and Crisis Intervention from Denver 911 in July 2019.
