Wellington Linhares

Wellington Linhares started their work experience in 2011 as an Accounting Intern at BHG - Brazil Hospitality Group. There, they were responsible for calculating withheld taxes, fulfilling NFTS obligations, and performing tax bookkeeping. Wellington gained knowledge of Oracle and Phoenix ERP systems during this time.

In 2012, they became an Accounting Intern at Honda Trading Brasil Ltda., where they focused on accounting reconciliations and monitoring budget variations.

From 2012 to 2022, Wellington joined Grupo TorreSur as an Accounting Assistant and later as an Accounting Coordinator. In this role, they displayed deep proficiency in all accounting closing routines, prepared financial reports in BR GAAP and U.S. GAAP, and implemented and analyzed the initial adoption of IFRS (CPC's - new Brazilian accounting pronouncements). Wellington reported directly to the headquarters in the United States.

Wellington Linhares has a strong educational background in finance and accounting. Wellington obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance and Capital Markets from Trevisan Escola de Negócios in 2020-2021.
