Marc Garon Morin

Senior Engineering Manager at Elodie Games

Marc Garon Morin has a long and varied work experience in the gaming industry. Marc began their career in 2005 as a Gameplay Programmer for Ubisoft Montréal, where they were responsible for the cover and vaulting system, creating shooting helpers, and analysing and integrating animation systems. Marc then moved on to become the Technical Lead for Watch Dogs, where they improved performances and bandwidth usage for replicated features and implemented and shared good replication practices. After that, they took on the role of Programming Team Lead (Gameplay) for three unannounced projects and Rainbow Six Patriots/Siege, where they were responsible for the 3Cs, the development of R6 operators, the procedural mission generation system, and mission objectives. Marc also served as the Programming Team Lead (AI) for Watch Dogs 2, where they reworked AI character replication and created the technical design for the reaction system. Most recently, they were hired as the Senior Engineering Manager for Elodie Games in 2022.

Marc Garon Morin attended Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke from 2001 to 2005 and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Engineering.
